Once upon a time...
there was our love and the light,
now there's only light in the dark.
There's nothing left to see
now our world is falling apart.

our dreams were coming true,
now they've come to tear us apart.
There's nothing left to do 
But surrender...
to a total eclipse of the heart.

Once upon a time there was love and light, now there’s only light in the dark. We have surrendered our humanity and our love to a global eclipse of the heart, hopefully not - forever...

Love of the heart is a profound force, intrinsic to our very humanity. It drives our attraction, desire, chemistry and biology as it propels life through forces beyond necessity and redundancy. The heartspace is a living intelligence that lives within us, shaping how we experience ourselves, others, and life itself, and it holds the capacity to create union, transformation, and birth a new experience of reality.

We are now experiencing light in the dark, where what once felt like coherence and meaning has begun falling apart. As we continue to live an external reality of life's circumstances, without the inner architecture that gives us either desire or meaning, life, as we once knew it, has fallen apart, because it has lost the orientation of love, central to its heart. This is not simply an individual experience but reflects something far greater and increasingly collective. Humanity is moving through systems that translate lived experience into abstraction, identity into metrics, and presence into data. In this transition human beings are being transformed, beneath conscious awareness in the darkness. Here on earth, without love and the depth of the heart, humans are being repositioned not as a relational, embodied presence, but as functional units within structures and systems of productivity, control, and suppression that delivers optimisation.

We have, in many ways, collectively and unknowingly slowly surrendered to this architecture. A silent, passive surrender to our degradation, not immediately understood or visible as loss, but instead experienced as erosion. Disconnection from the inner landscape of the heart and the soul, fragmentation from the authentic activation of the somatic body, and loss of a true heartfelt connection to each other. A global eclipse of the heart is occurring on earth, not simply as an external condition, but an internal one: a state in which what once gave life its depth and purpose is increasingly drifting into obscurity through diversion and darkness.

This is an experience of modern life in the void, one we have increasingly been programmed to endure, as life continues and persists, but is experienced internally as a living death. Life without love and a heart may be viewed superficially as productive within systems that reward disconnection, efficiency, and emotional detachment, yet within the human vessel of the self, productivity without a loving driving force descends the mind, body and soul into atrophy. The more that is achieved, diverted, and surrendered in this state, the more it is magnified in its redundancy of achievement, as it is increasingly experienced as emptiness and silently witnessed as a degeneration within the self.

In a world that is systematically functioning without love, a person living without a heart not only transitions into a place of vacuousness but must relinquish their truth and very source of vitality, from what it was to be human. For those who once lived in coherence and orientation of the heart, they will become increasingly estranged from themselves. In this process we do not simply become 'efficient'; we become reduced, as we experience movement without meaning, continuation without self direction, and embodied feeling without felt presence. Here, in the dark ages of humanity, in a time that has selectively and insidiously cast out its own heart into shadow, what is delivered externally as progress will, in a universe of cause and effect, equally result in self-erosion. As we silently drift away from both inner coherence and ourselves, humanity, as we knew it - is no longer sustainable. One cannot indefinitely sustain functioning within systems of 'value' while simultaneously diminishing the very forces that drive us to live, and give life meaning in the first place.

And so humanity shifts, and adapts, as it learns to endure and 'exist' in a heartbreaking and paradoxical state. Outwardly active and productively achieving while simultaneously inwardly contracting and significantly diminishing. A world of 'progress', one 'in motion', ironically moving further and further away from the heart that once propelled it forward and gave that motion direction and meaning.

A total eclipse of the heart is coming. Humanity is now at a threshold where we are being cast into shadow by systems that seek to totally disconnect us from our heart. We are all facing a profound choice, to consciously and collectively reconnect to our love and humanity so we can co-create a state of unity and inner coherence in the form of a new earth. Or to surrender… to the darkness and our degeneration, into a reality where we are little more than numbers, and a time where we will only remember that ‘once upon a time… we believed in a world that had a heart.’

 

Once upon a time...
I believed in truth, in love,
and I believed in the light.

Once upon a time...
I dreamed of a world
and an experience of love
liberated from the dark,
far, far away from a life
that is forever falling apart.
